On behalf of the Calendar SIAC Subcommittee, please review each calendar option and respond to the following question in the survey link below:  Which calendar option do you prefer for the 2023-2024 school year? The deadline for this survey is Tuesday, Jan 24th at 8:00 PM. 
 
 
 
Option 1 of the draft calendar presents a scenario in which:
  • The last day of school would be May 24th.
  • Students would attend school on the Thursday of both Fall and Spring Conferences.
  • Winter Break would be from December 22nd-January 2nd. December 22nd being a Teacher Work Day and January 2nd would be a Teacher Choose A Day option (work day).
  • May 28th is a Professional Learning Day, May 29th is Teacher Check Out Day, and May 30th is a Teacher Choose A Day option (work day).
Option 2 of the draft calendar presents a scenario in which:
  • The last day of school would be May 29th.
  • Students would not attend school on the Thursday of both Fall and Spring Conferences.
  • Winter Break would be from December 22nd-January 2nd. January 2nd would be a Teacher Choose A Day option (work day).
  • May 30th is Teacher Checkout and May 31st is Teacher Choose A Day option (work day).
